Discussed what to do about the water rates. Baker-Tilly suggested that the Council raise the rates by 75%.
The Council didn’t want to go to 75%. The workshop was to determine how much we must raise the rates.
After A lot of discussion and going over Water Superintendent Bob Thomas’s 2024 budget. We found that we can raise the rates 63% and still be okay with Bob’s budget.
The 2024 budget was presented to the Board. There were a couple of questions.
