1. Department Heads reports:
Jeff Province: Wastewater/Stormwater- Had sone freezing happen at the WW plant. Everything is back to working fine Presented a quote from Sam Pinkerton to work on the F350. Sam asked that we pay for the motor upfront. Council Member Darwin Miller made the motion to have Sam fix the truck and to pay for the motor upfront. Council Member Rex Pearson second the motion. Motion carried 4-0
Robert Thomas: Water/Street- Made it through the cold snap Did have a few major leaks in town.
Would like to have them given sewage credit. Council Member Darwin Miller made the motion to give
Sewage credit. Council Vice President Jerry Lietz second the motion. Motion carried 4-0
Marshal Jared Baer: Town Marshal-Peaceful Holiday season. The Camera’s for the cars has arrived.
Purchased two rifles.
Lori Bussell: Park Board-no report

Sandy Miller- RWCDC and Food Pantry- The very last food give a way will be January 18,2022.

Jerry Lietz: Area Plan Committee- There is work being done for guidelines on developing a sub devision.
Michelle Earney: Summer Festival Committee- Going to a conference to get fresh Ideas for the festival
Marilyn Young: Main St Committee- Christmas Decorations will be taken down soon
Jacob Ahler: Town Attorney- Presented Ordinance 2023-2 for approval. The ordinance was to vacate
The alleys that go through Indiana Ribbon Factory. Council Member Darwin Miller made the motion to

Pamela Bennett: Clerk-Treasurer- Presented Resolution 2023-1. Establishing 2023 Primary Election.
Vice President Jerry Lietz made the motion to approve the resolution. Council Member Darwin Miller
Second the motion. Motion carried 4-0
Old Business:
F&K will be removing the pipe and the hydrant from Janell’s property. There is going to a council member
Talk to Ed Kyburz about keeping the hydrant on his land.
Ken Smith: Wanted to make sure what streets we are wanting to improve. Ken will be getting the estimate together and getting them to the Clerk-Treasurer so the Council Can approve them.
New Business:
Thieneman Construction: Gave an estimate of $19,900.00 to fill in the dry well at the old water plant.
Council Member Darwin Miller made the motion to have Thieneman fill the dry well. Council Member Rex Pearson second the motion. Motion carried 4-0
Vice President Jerry Lietz asked Breanna Wood to do a test of the emergency system.
Council Member Darwin Miller made the motion to adjourn. Council Vice President Jerry Lietz second the motion. Motion carried 4-0
