SLUM AND BLIGHT SPOT DECLARATORY RESOLUTION
TOWN OF WOLCOTT, INDIANA
RESOLUTION NO. 2017-09
WHEREAS, the Town of Wolcott desires to eliminate blighted structures within the corporate limits of Wolcott, Indiana, and
WHEREAS, the structure located at 129 West Market Street, has experienced a cessation of private investment since __________, and
WHEREAS, deterioration of the structure has taken place as evidenced by collapse of the roof and second floor, damaged joists, heavy moisture damage, and damaged brick walls
WHEREAS, the project activities are designed to address slums or blight on a spot basis as defined by 24 CFR 570.483(c)(2),
BE IT RESOLVED by the Town of Wolcott that the following property of the Town of Wolcott, hereby be designated as a structure in need of redevelopment as defined by Indiana Code 36-7-14: 129 West Market Street, Wolcott, IN.
Passed and adopted by the Town Council of the Town of Wolcott, Indiana on the ___ day of _____________, 2017.
