TOWN OF WOLCOTT PUBLIC HEARING The Council of the Town of Wolcott met Tuesday December 17,2019 at 6:00 p.m. in the Community Room of the Wolcott Town Hall for a Public Hearing to provide citizens and taxpayers an opportunity to question or express their views on the Increase of the trash rates for the town. Council Members Present Council President Michael J. Johnson, Council Vise President Stephen Schemerhorn, Council Members Fred Young, Patrick M. Powell, and Richard Lynn Council Members Absent None In attendance were: Clerk-Treasurer Pamela Bennett, Deputy Clerk Breanna Wood, Wastewater & Stormwater Supt. Chad W. Reynolds, Water Supt Robert Thomas, Wolcott Volunteer Fire Chief Kenny Burns, Ambulance Director Steve Young, Town Marshal Jim Herre, Town Marshal Michael Powell, Darwin Miller, Cameron Emond, Jerry Lietz, Sherriff Bill Brooks, Terri Brooks, and Leslie Benyon Council President Michael J. Johnson opened the Public Hearing with the Pledge to the flag. Council President Michael J. Johnson. Read the Public Health and Safety Ordinance No. 2019-11. The towns trash rates are going to increase in 2020. Michael asked if there was any discussion on the rates. There was none. Council member Fred Young made the motion to accept the Ordinance as read. Council member Stephen Schemerhorn seconded the motion, and the motion carried 5-0. No other comments or questions were heard, Council President Michael J. Johnson closed the Public Hearing.
